DESCRIPTION: Monkee’s Franchising, LLC: As the Senior Graphic Designer at Monkee’s Franchising, I lead the challenging yet exciting project of directing an art rebrand for illustrations and iconography. Going beyond computer-generated icons and photography, my vision was to develop art that would tell the Monkee’s brand story in a unique, attention-grabbing manner, intended for use across several platforms, including corporate presentations, websites, promotional graphics, and social media. I developed an extensive style guide so that all team members could contribute artwork while retaining a cohesive and on-brand style. The result is loose, ambiguous; not precise, well-defined, or realistic. The use of color is intentional, with minimal color schemes to lend an abstract quality and less l shading, noise and dimension so as not to appear over-embellished or intricate. Colors are vibrant (more vivid than what meets the high in the real world), and complementary colors are frequently used to create a striking visual effect. Below are the illustrations and icons I personally created, and some sale promotions that I designed for franchisee owners.
